Shhh...We're Hunting Leprechans

This St. Patty's Day we decided to try our hands at catching our very own leprechan (or as Jasper says "reprechan"). As everyone knows, leprechans come out during the night before St. Patrick's Day, and if you're really skilled you'll catch one!

First: the Leprechan Trap.
Which best attracts the leprechan if wrapped in green paper and covered with shamrock stickers.



Second: the Hunting Gear.
Any green clothing works, but if it says Ireland it's even better.




Third: the Bait.
It's best to use the leprechan's favorite food, Lucky Charms cereal.



Fourth: Setting the Trap.
Pick a good spot and have your Daddy help you prop it up on a stick.




Now wait for the little unsuspecting guy to come along and THWAT! You'll catch your leprechan. Now shhhhh.



In the morning Jasper was so excited to check his trap. Alas, the leprechan was too quick but he did leave some green glittery leprechan dust and chocolate gold coins.



Not too bad for a bunch of novices. And may the luck of the Irish be with us next year.
