An Early Snow

The Northwest experienced an early snow in mid-November. For three glorious days we sledded, went for snowy walks and had snowball fights. Jasper loved it.

At least twice a day, we would put on the long-johns, sweaters, wool socks, ski pants, snow boots, scarf, mittens, jacket and hat.






Although he was still days from turning 2-1/2 years, he sure had no fear when it came to getting on a sled and going down our steep driveway.

Jasper insisted on sledding like the older girls next door...head-first on his tummy! This night video isn't the greatest, but you can see Jasper's hat "flapping' as he goes over the jump at the bottom. That's Jasper yelling "More!"

Rick got into the snowball fight.
