After long debate over whether or not to have a birthday party, we finally gave in and went for it. Well, as Murphy's Law would have it, the weather couldn't have been any worse. We decided since there was a small chance the kids could play outside, why not set up the party in the garage rather than having them traipse through the house. So given the circumstances, it worked out pretty well and most importantly the kids had fun.
Miss Maddy "Moo" taking a ride on Jasper's battery powered train. This was a huge hit. (Thanks Grandpa Paul!)
The boys braving the weather to play on the big toy.
Maddy and Anna apparently arguing over a fender-bender.
Jasper got a new parachute from his cousins in Boise. This instantly made the kids crazy with laughter. We highly recommend one for anyone with small children.
Anna reaching for the parachute and showing off her pooh-bear tummy.
If you've seen the movie "Animal House", you know you make me wanna Shout!
The Birthday Boy decided to climb in the parachute.
Jasper LOVED his train cake that his Grandmother made for him. Yummo.
Jasper couldn't help but crack a big smile while all the kids were singing Happy Birthday to him.
You can do it, kid. There are only two candles.
Chocolate train cake. My favorite.
Anna showing Jasper the proper technique for opening presents.
A hug from Mom-mom. (He decided Mommy, Mom and Momma are too ordinary, so he came up with his own name.)
He had been waiting all day for this hug from his main squeeze, Maddy.
HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!!
