It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

This year is already very different from last Christmas since Jasper is now aware of Christmas lights, snowmen and Santa Claus! And he will point them all out to you in case you miss any.

He's been "a very good boy" by not destroying any of our decorations or ornaments, although he has some favorites...

Here he is kissing the Baby In The Nutshell ornament which for some reason is his favorite. Such a sweetie.

Helping Daddy vacuum up Christmas tree needles.

It's Tool Time! Occasionally Rick and our little carpenter attend the Lowe's Saturday kids' workshop. For every project that Jasper finishes (ok, really Rick does the work), he gets a patch that Christy sews onto his apron. So far he has five patches!

Be safe and wear your safety goggles.

Making sure Daddy follows the instructions for the wooden gingerbread house.

If you need anything hammered, just ask our little hammering expert.

Thanks to our friend Andrea, we were invited to the Festival of Trees in Tacoma. Each tree display is beautifully done with it's own theme, ornaments, presents and setting. It was difficult to capture their brilliance in photos, but here are some of the best.

Classic black, white and red with a baby grand...you can't beat that.

Jasper loved the snowman in this one.

There was an ambulance (with wheels!) on display for the kids to walk through.

Jasper liked the inside of it as well as the wheels on the outside.

Jasper's first visit to see Santa Clause went pretty well. Though he was a bit shy to actually look at Santa, he didn't mind sitting on his lap.
