Last of the Summer Fun

Since we are always putting on some weird spectacle for the neighbors (like Rick riding his mountain bike up and down our back yard or Christy watering the plants in her pajamas), we figured it's never too soon to involve Jasper in our strange antics.

So, on the last really hot weekend of the summer, Rick got out the wading pool. Although the water wasn't cold, it took Jasper a while to get used to it. And he did NOT like his pool floaty.

Now the neighbors have a new one to add to their list of weird things the Sarkany's do: "2 adults and 1 baby in bathing suits sitting in a kiddie pool".







Jasper may not be so sure about the pool, but he followed it up with a warm shower which he really likes. Note: bathing suits were worn for this picture.


Rick's brother Andrew came from Boise to visit the first week of September. The boys (Rick, Andrew, Jasper and Maverick) went out on a trail hike everyday. Andrew did such a great job watching Jasper and changing his diaper that I offered to hire him as our au pair. Unfortunately, he needed to go back home to his wife and daughter.
